When is Daughters Day?

National Daughters Day is the celebration of the presence of these beautiful and affectionate souls in parents’ lives. This day marks the appreciation and admiration given to daughters for making wonderful and ample contributions in the lives of not just their parents, but also to the country as a whole. Celebrated on the fourth Sunday of the month of September, this year, it is going to be celebrated on 22^nd September.

Importance of Daughters Day

Daughters Day was an initiative of the government to make people understand the true value of daughters in one’s lives. It came to force as a move to stop gender inequality and to provide an equal social stand to women in the society beside men.
