Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Flowers

  • They will be delivered to the recipient either in a fully bloomed, semi-bloomed or bud stage.
  • There can be a little difference in the appearance of the floral arrangements
  • receives orders for “Same Day Flower Delivery” before 8:00 pm from Monday to Saturday.

2. Cakes

  • There can be times when the selected cake can slightly vary or entirely substituted in terms of flavors and designs in case of their unavailability at the requisite baker shop.
  • Owing to the perishable nature of cakes, their delivery is only attempted once. So, the address provided by the customers must be accurate as the delivery cannot be redirected to another address.

3. The expected delivery time is only for estimation. The delivery of the ordered products will depend on its availability with the vendor and the delivery address on which it is to be delivered.

4. There are certain circumstances in which the delivery of your products may delay such as-

  • Traffic congestion
  • Bad weather
  • Political disruptions
  • Other unexpected situations

In case of all these above mentioned circumstances, we will inform you. Always keep a check on your messages or e-mails on daily basis for updates.

5. The delicate and perishable products like flowers and cakes are only hand delivered at the delivery address, and not along with the courier products.

6. For festive occasions like Raksha Bandhan, Valentine’s Day, or Diwali, it is better to place your orders in advance to avoid last minute delays.

7. We only attempt one-time delivery of perishable gifts like flowers and cakes. If the delivery is not executed in this attempt, you will still be charged for this order and we will not initiate its re-delivery. In the following situations, the order will be considered to be delivered:         

  • Premises locked
  • Recipient not available. In such a case, the person can inform the delivery person to drop the order with the neighbors or leave it at the gate.
  • Wrong delivery address
  • Recipient refused to accept the delivery
  • Delivered the item at the Reception/Gate/Neighbor

8. We will provide proof of delivery to the customer in case of any issues in the delivery.

9. We provide delivery of only those products which are meant for Express delivery on Sundays and Public Holidays.

10. In case of the unavailability of the recipient at the delivery address provided by the sender, the order will not be considered to be delivered late and no refunds, liability, or cancellations can be made by the customers.

11. Midnight Deliveries: The delivery of the products meant for this kind of delivery mode will be made between 11.00 pm to 12:30 am on the selected delivery date. We provide delivery on Sundays.

12. Fixed Time Deliveries: The chosen time slot is only for estimation. The selected products may get delivered before or after the slot chosen by the customer. 

13. Delivery of Courier Products

  • Notwithstanding anything mentioned in the Terms and Conditions or in the Shipping Disclaimer, when an order gets delivered through any courier agency or any third party, Giftalove does not take any responsibility in relation to the delivery of such order.
  • The date of delivery of the orders is only an estimate in case of courier deliveries. The orders may be delivered before or after the selected date of delivery.
  • The products will be delivered through Blue Dart or any other courier company and the delivery made by them are subject to the Terms and Conditions of such courier companies.
  • The delivery of the courier products depends on their availability or the destination to which it is to be delivered.
  • As our courier partners do not make a call before delivering the products at the doorsteps of the recipients and only initiate a single time delivery of products, it is always better to provide accurate delivery address at which someone is present all the time to receive the products.
  • The products meant for courier orders are nicely packed and dispatched from the warehouse. Soon after this, you will receive your order tracking number which helps you to trace the location of your order.
  • There can be a slight delay in the delivery of products by courier partners due to holidays and strikes.

14. Delivery Policy to Hotels

  • The delivery service providers in Giftalove’s logistics network have good years of experience in making deliveries to the hotels. To get gifts delivered to hotels, please provide the following information:
    • Name of the recipient
    • Hotel name
    • Full address of the hotel
    • Telephone number of the recipient and the hotel reception
    • Room number of the recipient
  • In case, the recipient has not checked in at the hotel on the date of delivery, the delivery executive will leave the order at the reception and it will be assumed as delivered.
  • If the recipient has checked out of the hotel on or before the delivery date, the order will be considered to be delivered and no refund will be made to the customer.

15. Delivery Policy to Hospitals

  • The delivery service providers in Giftalove’s logistics network have good years of experience in making deliveries to hospitals. Please provide the following details to deliver flowers in hospitals-
    • The name of the recipient
    • Hospital name
    • Full address of the hospital
    • Telephone number of the hospital
    • Room number or ward of the recipient
  • Your order will be sent according to the policies of the hospitals as they restrict florists to personally deliver flowers in the recipient’s room.

16. Delivery Policy to Wedding or Marriages Halls

In such deliveries, it is sometimes impossible to hand deliver gifts to the bride and groom. We always ensure that your gifts are hand over to one of the responsible guests or members at the party.

17. Delivery Policy to Hostels/PG/Enclosed Premises/Cantonment

  • Following information should be provided to us to place orders for delivery at the above premises -
    • The name of the recipient
    • Hostel name
    • Full address of the hostel
    • Telephone number of the recipient and the hostel
    • Room number of the recipient
  • As the entry in restricted in the above-mentioned places, the recipient should either personally come to the gate to receive the order or send someone on his/her behalf after having a word with the delivery person. 
  • The order can also be left with the security guard at the gate and will be assumed executed.

18. Delivery policy to railway stations, Metro stations and airports: We do make deliveries at the railway stations, Metro stations or airports.

19. International Orders

  • Please provide clear address, city, state, zip code and other details. Our processes are very strict and gifts to wrong address may not be delivered and you may be charged for the same. In the event the gift has to be redelivered due to incorrect information provided by the customer, standard redelivery costs will be levied.
  • Deliveries of the orders will not be made by directly but through third parties. Orders should be placed 48 hours prior to the delivery date. Subject to the other terms of the Shipping Disclaimer, the deliveries would be done in between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • For countries in UAE and other Arab countries, no deliveries shall be made on Friday. Delivery status will be available after 48 (forty eight) hours of delivery.
  • We will attempt delivery only ONCE and in case the house/delivery location is locked or the recipient refuses to take the delivery, it shall be deemed to have been made.
  • Any change in address/message shall be noted by us only if it is intimated prior two hours before the delivery.
  • If due to non-availability of the ordered product, the delivering outlet may without notice, substitute flowers, container or accessories of a similar value, brand and repute.
  • Delivery delayed due to weather conditions, incorrect delivery address or act of terror shall not become a cause for a refund or replacement under any circumstances.
